filter_dramaEatPaparazzi - With a pretty diverse menu, Paparazzi has fairly cheap meals and is frequented by locals and AUBG students alike. The restaurant is located at ulitsa Rayko Daskalov 8, which is just south of Makedonia Square.
Pizza Napoli - If you are craving a good pizza then Pizza Napoli is a great place to grab a slice or a pie. Bulgaria in general treats its pizza a little differently than the rest of the world but you can get traditional pizza toppings here along with some truly Bulgarian toppings. The restaurant is located at ulitsa Hristo Botev 4, which is close to Blagoevgrad's town hall. -
filter_dramaDrinkUnderground - Frequented by 20 something locals and AUBG students alike, Underground is located at ulitsa (street) Arseniy Kostentsev 7, just across from the library on the main pedestrian street. Like the name suggests, the club in located in the basement of the building and a fairly discreet entrance leads you to this lively club. Normally, a bouncer is located at the entrance to collect a small cover fee and quickly check your ID. Once inside, you are greeted by loud music, cheap drinks and beautiful people. A must if you plan to visit the city.
Underground 2 - The newer, larger sister club to Underground. Underground 2 is just as lively, just as cheap and has just as many beautiful people. Being newer, this club is much nicer than its sister club but seems less crowded because it is that much bigger. Supplied with a number of different bars, you will not be waiting long for drinks here.
Old Dublin - One of the most frequented Irish Pub in the city, Old Dublin does not disappoint. With a relatively mellow crowd, this is a great place to check out if you want to watch a football match and drink a pint or two. Old Dublin is located at ulitsa (улица) Trakiya 3, which is a short walk from Makedonia Square.
