filter_dramaGet inTaba has one small international airport with duty free. However, EgyptAir does not serve this airport. If flying from elsewhere in Egypt, you must fly into [wiki=2a08b8fdc9dfd0aec34c8467ee18f3e4]Sharm el-Sheikh[/wiki] and take a bus or taxi to Taba Heights.
A number of bus companies service the area from [wiki=b181c43993de481ea462a2bfe11f0a1b]Cairo[/wiki] and [wiki=f6e66d0525f408a2e9ca005fd0ff47c9]Sharm el Sheikh[/wiki] stopping at towns along the route. The bus drops off passengers at the petrol station outside the gates of Taba Heights. A transfer to the hotel from the station can be arranged through local tour companies.
Access from [wiki=cf69932607478765a40e19b95b79b63a]Eilat[/wiki], [wiki=5a548c2f5875f10bf5614b7c258876cf]Israel[/wiki] is via the Taba Border Crossing (about 25 minutes drive from Taba Heights). -
filter_dramaGet aroundRegular free shuttle buses are an easy and reliable means to move around the resort. They are scheduled to run every half-hour from 9:15 AM until 1 AM. However, these shuttle buses do not stop at Club Med Sinai Bay, which is counted as one of the six hotels in Taba Heights.

Distances of Sinai attractions from Taba Heights by road:
Coloured Canyon 70km (hike through canyon);
[wiki=2d69ff62c373227a42c3cf11a21d8fdf]Mount Sinai[/wiki] 210km (Moses trail and home to inhabited monastery and the burning bush. A long hike but great sunrise view); and
[wiki=f6e66d0525f408a2e9ca005fd0ff47c9]Sharm el Sheikh[/wiki] 225km (Ras Mohammed National Park). -
filter_dramaDoThe water sports center offers full range of water sports including [wiki=f0a9e1d85f606b67d581023c8420933a]Scuba diving[/wiki], sailing and windsurfing with or without training. The scuba diving is more macro rather than the dramatic walls and sharks seen elsewhere in the Red Sea. Smaller underwater life that is regularly seen includes sea horses, frog fish and sea moths. Whale sharks have been sighted in the summer months but this is not a regular event. Dolphins often pass through in the summer. Dive sites are quite quiet compared to other resorts.
Snorkelling off the jetty's at the hotels is good with lots of small fish to see. A large sail boat offers trips to Pharoun Island for the more adventurous snorkelers.
There are quad biking trips into the dessert just outside of Taba Heights.
Golf can be played with or without coaching at the golf course located in the centre of the resort. The course has officially been ranked in the top 100 golf courses world wide. -
filter_dramaBuyA wide range of locally produced crafts including rugs, paintings and silver. The usual Egyptian souvenirs are also available.

filter_dramaEatThere are a set of restaurants located in the hotels. For those wishing to eat out of the hotels there are 5 restaurants in the Uptown shopping area some with fabulous views over the golf course. Prices for alcoholic drinks are comparable to those in Europe.
There is one beach bar at the diving and water sports center which is open while its guests are there which serves good resonably priced food and drinks. -

Nightlife
Specialist nights are arranged at the hotels who have animation teams, bands and other forms of entertainment. The Uptown area has a variety of restaurants and a bar along with a shopping promenade.
There is a weekly street festival with free live entertainment in the Uptown area each Friday from March till November.

4 Star Belgian owned hotel located at the rear of the complex (adjacent to the shopping area). A shuttle bus is required to get to private beach and watersports/diving centre.

5 star resort style hotel set amidst 368 hectares of landscaped gardens and lagoons. The hotel has 3 restaurants, 3 bars and a spa.
