Eldoret International Airport has regular flights from Nairobi for around 6000Ksh one way. -
filter_dramaGet aroundLocal motatus (van taxis) can be hailed on the roadside and travel to outer neighbourhoods. There is no route map that tourists can refer to so it's best to ask a local which motatu to use. Prices can range from 20Ksh upwards.

filter_dramaSeeKerio Valley Lookout is a 2 hour drive and located nearby Eten town. This escarpment looks out over Kerio Valley and is famous for paragliding. Note that you will need a paragliding licence and your own gear.

filter_dramaDoPoa Place is a wildlife park and cultural centre. Here you can see two resident lions, two resident cheetahs, ostriches, snakes, crocodiles, turtles, monkeys, and bird life. The animals are in small - medium sized enclosures as opposed to cages. You can also explore traditional homesteads that are used by local tribes. There is a restaurant, some childrens ride, swimming pool and bar. Entrance to the wildlife park is 400Ksh for non-residents of Eldoret.
