It offers to the tourists different landscapes and stops. The most common stop is at Torta Lagoon, you can have an excelent fresh grilled fish lunch enjoying the views from the lagoon. The beach ending is also one of the second stop recently discovered by the kitesurfers, it has one or two restaurants - the area is very pretty when the sea tide is full so the water comes very close to the restaurants & bungalows for rental.
There are few places still to overnight, however is amazing the peace and relax this place offers. Its highly suggested to stay one or two nights you come to enjoy Jericoacoara or Camocim for more than a week stay. -

Kitesurf is the most common sport in the area, mainly at the beach, some people also like to kite in the lagoons. The great adventure is to come in a downwinder from Jericoacoara. It´s 25km thru flat and waves depending on the tide. You cross Guriu river and enjoy an amazing view from mangroove and coast. There is a company called Kitesurfando (kitesurfando@gmail.com) that organize this experience during the wind season. -
