Lily did an excellent concierge job for us. We got a VIP card from her and enjoyed a discount for most services at La Estancia and the neighboring Flamingo hotel. Our only complaint about this resort was how it handled random issues. The ceiling of our first room leaked right above the toilet on day 2. It made the floor wet and gave us an unwanted free shower every time we used the toilet. The hotel sent 2 maintenance guys, who told us it was fixed agreeing checking something on the hallway. 20 minutes later the leak started again. We had to ask for a room change and was told we could check into the new room at 3pm. We got back at 3:40. The room was not ready. We waited until 4:10 before deciding to do our activities first. We went back again after 9pm. The room was still not ready. The hotel was not fully booked so I didn’t understand why it was so hard to just change a room. After some strong complaints we were given "another" room. We didn’t get to our new room until almost 10pm.

I stayed here for the second time. Great place, comfortable rooms, friendly staff.
Very good gym with A/C, good equipment and VERY clean, and the best-ever gym attendant, Daniel.
Had some issues with a shared balcony, but after some time and effort, this was resolved by Micaela. Lily was helpful as well.
Stunning views, beautiful grounds, and the perfect beach which we walked/jogged for miles in either direction made this a memorable 15-day vacation. I loved it!

The welcome is great when you arrive at the resort. The rooms are pristine, the views are to die for, the pools are clean and convenient, and the beach makes this place world class. The only thing that this place lacked was slow dinner service. We were able to get seated and order food at El Patron but nobody came back to offer us dessert or another drink so after 20 mins of waiting we started to walk away to get our check.
