Location of hotel was perfect for my stay here and fell in love with area restaurants within 5 min walk. The staff were so very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and couldn't do enough. Room was basic - comfortable and clean. Breakfast bar was sufficient and the fresh fruit was great. Would stay here again.

We tagged on 3 days to an Overseas Adventure trip that we had taken in Portugal and Spain. OAT made the reservations for us at this hotel and arranged transportation from the Barcelona airport. We had already been traveling for 3 weeks so we had been in many hotels. This hotel was by far one of the nicest places we encountered on the trip. The staff was very accommodating and made arrangements for us to get our required covid tests before our international flights. They gave us dinner recommendations, had a wonderful breakfast, as well as making sure our rooms were restocked and spotless every day. I would highly recommend HCC Regente to anyone, largely due to their outstanding staff.

The staff was very helpful regarding where to go, calling a cab and how to get there.
However, there are some things that I was unhappy about. First, the roof-top garden should have been open to us during times when we would be at the hotel. Naturally, I was on vacation so I spend the daytime hours touring the city. I would return to the hotel about hour 20:00 or 21:00. The roof-top was never open. It was only open during the day when my friends and I were not at the hotel.
Also, the bar on the main floor was rarely open. I don't understand why have a bar if it is always closed.

The hotel was very conveniently located to all parts of the city. The room was very nice, although a bit warm and stuffy. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The daily breakfast buffet was delicious. The only disappointment was that the rooftop area was not open on NYE. We were part of a group and it would have been great to go up there together to see the fireworks.

The room was nice and big (we took the double room) and it was clean.

No tea coffee facilities in room though had to use room service!

Terrible service. We asked to speak to the manager multiple times (emailed, called, left notes with the concierge) to try to change a reservation and they never followed through. They charged us an additional $70 for bringing our infant, even though we brought our own baby crib. The rooftop is lovely and location is good, but will have to give a poor review based on our experience.
