This elegant hotel is located in the centre of Barcelona on the famous Plaza España, near the well-known Gran Via. From here, it is only about 200 m to the Montjuic fountain with its sound and light shows. Beautiful place. I can't say I was a big fan of Barcelona, but the hotel itself was very nice. I did steal one of your towels. Promise it was an accident. LOL.

This is really a great hotel in Barcelona. I stayed there with my wife over the weekend and we had breakfast and dinner included. The hotel is very modern, excellent breakfast and a really nice restaurant. Clean and large rooms and many TV channels. Very professional and friendly staff (for example Bruno at reception). Fantastic terrace with swimming pool! Easy to reach via the Plaça d'Espanya. Although the hotel is near the Fira trade fair, I can also fully recommend it as a tourist hotel. It is in a quiet neighbourhood (good to relax after stressful sightseeing) and the city center can be easily reached.

An amazing hotel, ideally located close enough to the hustle bustle but far enough away to enjoy a relaxed stay. The hotel suites are huge and luxurious. The Spa facilities were of particular joy as was the club lounge which is without doubt the best club lounge I’ve ever experienced. Highly recommended and will without doubt be back one day.

I booked an airport transfer from the hotel. Upon arrival, it took us an hour to get through the border control. The line was huge and the speed of check was terribly slow. After an hour of waiting the driver of the transfer vehicle left without giving us a call or any other notification. The hotel staff tried to negotiate with the taxi company but in the end they still charged us for the transfer that didn't happen. I wouldn't recommend using airport transfer service from this hotel. All taxis in Barcelona are distinctively marked and equipped with meters. You can easily find them at the airport. The cost of trip to Crown Plaza is about 25-30 EUR, which is three times less than the transfer cost offered by the hotel.

Great hotel in great location. Within walking distance of dozens of good restaurants and half a dozen Michelin starred ones. Super comfortable bed, smooth linen, well appointed bathroom great room. We were late checking in so management left us a welcome note and a lovely plate of local Iberican Ham with local tomato bread. A very thoughtful presentation and totally unexpected. We had booked club floor and it did not disappoint. Tea and coffee, alcohol and snacks set serve all day long. I was too lazy to get out of that most comfortable bed to get to breakfast before 10.30am but I may try it tomorrow. This is one of the better Crowne Plaza hotels I've stayed in and you should try it. You wont be disappointed.
