The Legend….where history has failed to record the facts legend has filled in the gaps…..The locals' belief circulating indicates that during his summer sojourns in the hills of Nagarkot the Rana Prime Minister's eyes fell on a pretty hill belle. His intense love for this petite lady whom he named Bhangeri (diminutive) resulted in building a durbar (palace) for her.
