Good as a hostel, but not really a 3☆ Hotel.
Rooms:
The rooms were nice. Small but you had everything you needed. Also it was quite clean (not like SUPER clean but clean). The hotel is a bit old and you can see that in the room. However there was a TV and air conditioning which was nice. What annoyed me though were the thin walls - I could hear my neighbours watching TV at night.
Staff:
Was okay I guess. Not like super friendly, but good service.
Kitchen:
The hotel had a kitchen. However, the stove didn't work properly and neither did the microwave. No oil to use for cooking.
Bathroom/showers:
Were ok. You had enough space and towels but due to it being an old house, the bathroom looked a bit used.
Surroundings:
Quite central, not too far from the station.

Great stay in Portimao in the Next Inn hotel. Nice bedroom with balcony, clean, air conditionning(!!), shared kitchen and rooftop terasse. Well located, close to the train station and bus station. Really good quality/price. I recommend that place and would come stay there again!
